One week later...

I keep wanting to write a post, but have had nothing new to tell, so here is a little photo-archive show -

January!
Woke this morning to rain.

impression
Watched the children hurrying past on their way to school, and braved the rain to walk to the papershop. (Less than a five minute walk.)

no time for photography
Resign myself to a bit of domestic duty.

abstract
Still raining.

collection
Do a little dusting (or just think about it!)

rank and file
Get bored and sort out my pencils...

thinking of summer
...and dream about the sea.

catstract
Marvin's dreaming too.

Keep snug,
Jill

Love all the photos though the rain ones are my favorite in this post, they are beautiful, like a pattern to be sewn or something. :-)

What a shame you are having such a miserable day weatherwise - we have blue skies and sunshine here in the west!! Maybe we'll get your rain tomorrow.

Love your post as it's what real life is all about isn't it? Bit of this and a bit of that. I too have a shelf unit rather like yours and a glas vase full of shells and pebbles on my shower room windowsill. Have a cat rather like that too although mine is black and white!!

Weather's absolutely horrid here too, Jill. I think Marvin has the right idea!

Hmmm well you wasted no time - you gathered thoughts. Marvin's chin is so ticklable - he is so like my Smartie!

Snug is the word of the day .... especially on such a dismal one ... lovely photos and if I ever have the chance to return in another life I am coming back as a Tom Cat .... what a life!

Jill,
Love the shot of all those neatly sharpened pencils and those shells in the jar. We had the rain and gales all through the night so the day has been pretty good here until a couple of hours ago. All of a sudden the last few golden leaves have gone, blown to the four corners of the world. Hope you have a dry day tomorrow! Lesley

What a lovely, lovely set of photos. I have those coloured pencils too....... no others blend like them. I used to work in an art and crafts shop and used to love selling them..... That is a gorgeous shot of Marvin........ it instantly made me smile. Mine is out and about marauding in the wind and rain. (He is making up for being kept in for a week having had an abcess and visits to the vets!!)

The 'stories' you tell through 'photo's are just lovely! Even if you think you haven't got much to tell... Hope its stopped raining where you are! x
