Just to let you know after a rapid deterioration in his health Marvin fell asleep finally at the vets this morning. Gonna miss that cat for a long time...
Oh Jill - I'm so sorry to hear your news. I understand just how you might be feeling of course and that there will be little reminders everywhere along with shadows you think are Marvin only to realise they can't be and to be plunged into that dark hole again. Take care of yourself and I promise that things will get better and the day will come when you think of him with fond rememberance and not this terrible numbing grief. My thoughts are with you.
So sorry to hear your sad news and really know how you feel - we've lost our eldest chinchilla today, collected him from the vets after a dental procedure and he passed away in my arms as I gave him a cuddle before putting him back in his cage - feeling devastated as we've had him for a good 10 years maybe a little more even :( Take care x
That is so sad Jill, I truly feel for you. Marvin was a gorgeous cat with so much character. It's a year since Peachy died and I still miss him 😢 It's the worst part of having a pet......everything else is wonderful though, so remember how lucky he was to have lived with you. XX
What a superstar Marvin has been to us all.Reading about him through your posts has often been funny and now, sad. He'll leave a big hole for you and Mr T but he touched a few hearts out here in the ether too so we'll miss him too. Thinking of you both. xx
Jill, Sorry to read this news, what a beautiful photograph of Marvin, yes you are going to miss him. A few years ago, Our cat was buried at the bottom of the garden amongst the snowdrops, nice to know she is there. I have been looking back at your posts, love the quilted poppies, amazing work. Hope you find something to keep you busy and use all those great skills and ideas you have. X
