Take a leaf from my book

Here some pictures of my leaf book I have made - I think it has turned out quite well.

Despite being rather fond of it I have put it up for sale on Etsy as I am not sure when I shall have time to fill it up. But if no one wants it, I am sure I shall be able to use it. However if you saw my previous post you may guess that there are some more in production.

Today I have been sewing patchwork for some new paperback book covers. I have bonded the pieces to the felt wadding and machine stitched them down. Now I can spend a few evenings doing some hand stitching which I enjoy.

  1. Love the book Jill - I am sure it will sell rapidly. Looking forward to seeing your new patchwork book covers. You really are on a roll these days aren't you?! I wish I could get motivated again - I stoped my crafting to do the writing but now my muse seems to have left me I have also lost the impetus to craft!

  10. Gosh Jill, you've been busy since I last visited! (I have been busy packing and decided to stay away from blogland as I knew I would be enthralled and time would run away....)
Anyway, back to your post... the book is lovely! I've caught up on other posts too - definitely had to check out the Norfolk journal! Its lovely to read :) How is the Etsy shop going? Once we get settled in Durham, I shall have a really good look (only managed a quick peek so far) and I may just have to treat myself....

  15. Jill, What a fantastic book! I truly love it! What kind of paper did you use for the pages? Did you tear them free hand to get the shapes you wanted? Did you paint the pages? Thanks for sharing your gorgeous pieces of art!
